Benevolent donors and supporters are the key to the success of the families at Family Promise. While we receive a portion of our funding from government grants, the majority of our funding comes from private foundations, local businesses, faith-based partners and individual donors. Our primary event each year is the No Place Like Home Fundraising Breakfast. Other events throughout the year include our annual backpack drive for children returning to school, the Thanksgiving food drive, and the client family holiday party. These events are invaluable opportunities to create relationships with people and companies who are interested in helping us make a difference in the lives of homeless parents and their children.

2018 Family Promise Fundraising Breakfast
Each fall, Family Promise hosts the annual No Place Like Home Fundraising Breakfast. We recruit 30 to 35 Table Hosts each year to fill tables of ten with friends, family and colleagues. The goal of the event is to raise unrestricted funds for our programs and to spread our message in the community. This inspiring one hour event is the highlight of our year and the best opportunity to see and hear the stories of the families we’ve helped.
Yellow Brick Road Society
Breakfast attendees are asked and encouraged to join the Yellow Brick Road Multi-Year Giving Society. These society members make a minimum pledge of $1,000 annually for five years. The goal is to have 100 members by the year 2020. The pledged income from the breakfasts enables the agency to fund important programs necessary for the success of the families we serve.
