Rapid Rehousing Program

Kim Smith and familyBy adopting a “housing-first” model, Family Promise strives to house families who are homeless as quickly as possible and then provide necessary case management services once they are stably housed. Through a collaborative grant, Family Promise aims to house 75 families through this program in 2017.

Pictured here is Kimberly. Prior to receiving Family Promise Rapid Rehousing Services, Kimberly was homeless and hopeless. She could not hold a job and many agencies had tossed her aside thinking she was not able to be helped. Our case managers met with her, helped her find housing, helped with rental assistance as well as create a case plan that was manageable for her. Kimberly is now housed and re-united with her children.
